As the veil between this world and the next grows thinner and the power to manifest becomes greater in October, we invite you to celebrate this magical time of year under spellbinding melodies and enchanting beats, wearing something that represents your greatest wish. This could be is a place in time or space, a hero you would like to meet, a childhood dream or something of material matter… Whether you dress up or wear a good luck charm, the possibilities are infinite. Because anything can start with a wish and everything starts with you.
For our 3rd SOURCE event this year, we are delighted to welcome a highly talented duo, Dave McDonogh and Charlie Doran. These names need no introduction to the Irish arts and electronic music scene as both have long been recognised for their unique contributions to it, at home and internationally. Dave has been DJing for 15 years, holding several residencies in London and Dublin and playing festivals and events as part of the House of Disco and Nightflight collectives. More recently he has been concentrating on the production side of the industry, driving Belfast’s AVA Festival to become one of the most significant events in Europe’s dance music calendar. Charlie is an animator and videographer, greatly in demand by both the fashion and music industries for his witty and innately artistic perspective. Having VJ’d on tour for some of the biggest DJs in the world, he has been immersed in dance music for as long as he can remember but this will be a rare occasion that sees him step up from the other side of the decks. With the (turn) tables turned, we don’t know what exactly to expect from this pair’s inaugural performance together but we do know enough to know that it will be great!
Dave and Charlie will be joined by SOURCE founding djs Channel 11 and Marc Ibanez, who will be unleashing their usual bags of world electronica, melodic and minimal techno, electro and nu disco onto the dance-floor. We look forward to celebrating the magic of mid-October with you. Come as you wish!*
*Full costumes welcome or just do you. Great efforts will be rewarded with prizes on the night.
